As hard as all of this is on you, you aren't the only one suffering.

Your loved ones are extremely sad, angry and confused.

The challenges of living with someone who is drinking too much are profound, and often include:

Anxiety
Frustration
Feeling mentally disturbed
Difficulty sleeping
Wondering what they’ve done to deserve this
Being threatened
Physical or mental harm
Ignoring the issue, which simply extends it and makes it worse
Feeling ashamed

For the life of themselves, they can't figure out why you continue to do what you do. It makes no sense. They know you're destroying your life- and they know you know it, too. Please ask him/her reach out to Al-Anon. They don't have all the answers - but they can help.
